A great turn out at the Mirfield Annual Course with 35 on the mat on Sunday. Michael Rowley, senior instructor commented “35 on the mat today, one of the busiest for several years. Brilliant atmosphere, good company and a lot of great training. Food good last night too!”
The Annual Course is held over two days, this year on the 30th to 31st July and draws Martial Artists from all over the UK including Cambridge, Tamworth, Scunthorpe and Wales. Students get a chance to train with different Aikido instructors as well as try other martial arts such as Judo, Ju Jitsu and Karate.
Thanks to all the instructors, especially Guest instructors. Thanks to Paul Wood and Charmaine Thompson for organising the schedule and thanks to Tokushima Budo Council International for their support. A special thanks to local legends Maughan’s Homebake for providing lunches to some very hungry students.
