About Us
One of the UK’s Longest-Established Martial Arts Clubs
Mirfield Martial Arts Club is a not-for-profit community club based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Since 1975, we’ve been providing expert martial arts arts in Mirfield to adults and children across the region.
We are run 100% by volunteers — there are no contracts, no hidden agendas, just a welcoming space to train and grow.
Every class is led by a highly experienced black belt instructor, fully insured, DBS checked, and recognised by some of the UK’s most respected Budo Associations

Our club is rooted in traditional Aikido, taught by senior black belt instructors with decades of experience. Many of our coaches also hold high-level grades in Karate, Judo and Jiu Jitsu, which enriches our teaching and benefits every student.
